Kopavogur, Iceland — November 2022 — Annata, a Microsoft Global Independent Solution Provider (ISV), has appointed Magnus Norddahl to succeed Johann Jonsson as the company’s chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2023. Johann, who co-founded Annata and steered the company since 2001, will take over as Chairman.
Magnus Norddahl is no stranger to Annata having served as the company’s chairman since January 2022. In his new role, Magnus will focus on amplifying Annata’s growth and strengthening its market position.
Magnus Norddahl brings over three decades of management expertise in software development, IT, and the pharmaceutical industries from his time with Advania (EJS), Origo, and Tech Data.
Prior to joining Annata, he helmed LS Retail for over eleven years and was instrumental in scaling the business globally. He also sat on the boards of various companies such as Men & Mice, Artasan and Advania in Sweden. Magnus also has extensive knowledge of Microsoft’s Azure cloud solutions, having formed strong connections with Microsoft.
